how would I know if my fuel was boiling? 120-130

Is yours a '68 with teh crappy one peice manifold? Phil S suggests that this design really transmits the exhaust heat to the intake well. And mine does much as yours does. If I park for over 5 minutes hot, I have an engine that is both flooded AND vapor locked at the same time!

I bought an earlier aluminum intake and will put it it on, if life will ever slow down enough. This should fix my problem from what I am told.

Here's a trick to try: Put one gallon of diesel fuel in with a full tank of gas, and see what happens. It should reduce vapor lock, but if you've got a high compression engine I wouldn't try it, as it does reduce the octane rating of the fuel a point or two.
