"not turning over"?

I wish this were not a term used for "not starting".. but it seems to be the case....

So... when you try to start it, does the starter make the engine go 'round? If so, in my opinion, it *is* turning over, but not starting.

so.. if the starter doesn't make the engine go around when you put the key to the start position.. clean your battery cables.

If the starter *does* make the engine go around, but it won't actually start... get back and we can go from there.
