Congrats on your Amazon and Welcome to the Forum!

As to your dilema, I believe Matt has covered it...if it "turns over" then starter electricals are likley fine (but a PM to clean and tighten cables for the winter sure couldn't hurt!), it needs fuel (and more when it's cold, see: http://www.sw-em.com/checkchoke.htm), and spark (at the right time, see: http://www.sw-em.com/Volvo%20Ignition%20from%20Scratch.htm).
