I would be very afraid of burning the rubber out while the sleeve is still on the car. I made the press, removed the bushings, burned the rubber out on the sidewalk, then reinstalled and pushed in the poly.
It's up to you, yes, it can be done, but I would be afraid of setting all the undercoating on my car on fire, or cooking the brake lines, or something similar.
