Is fiberglass compatible with gasoline?

I'll second George's thoughts. I play around with old motorcycles, and some people have had trouble with the fiberglass gas tanks on old BSAs. It became a problem with the introduction of reform gasoline. It might not be an issue for just a patch, but a resin approved for the application would be preferred. I believe most underground fuel storage tanks are made with glass and resin these days, though I don't know if they are lined with a different material
