Yeah, thanks for all of your help on this. I figured that with all the responses, the least I could do is post back the final solution! Since this car is Regina, it only has one pump that resides in the gas tank. It was not remotely fun to break the old, utterly rusted hose clamps that were clinging to the pipes at the sender unit. It ended up involving screwrdivers and hammers, which I figured would cause the fewest sparks of my options for going through them. Quite terrible, but now it has a working fuel pump and runs like a champ!
