Am I ready to replace the Crank Position Sensor? 200 1990

I am not sure what the protocal is in posting but decided my other one was worn out but very helpful and I owe all contributors a big THANKS!!

I checked the 25amp fuse and even re-routed and re-secured it in a more logical positon. I also tested the relay at the "passenger's toes" (although there was no passenger at the time). Two of my most-respected mentors said check the CPS and I am ready, I think, but do I go from under with a lift? Or is it possible to go from atop?

I decided, after someone suggested to, replace everything relative to this symptom as I am anxious to really use this car and take meaningful trips in it. So, shy not replace stuff that, since original, are bound to fail sooner than later?

I will, as always look forward to hearing from you guys. BTW, has anyone ever thought of having a geek-together and talk Volvobonics and if it turns out and we all like each other, get together and open a Brick and Breakfast (near Baltimore?)
