charge warning/ charging problems? 200 1990

Adavis,

Bentley speaks of this in generic form without detailing the specific implementation in your '90 Volvo. The current for the exciter passes through the warning lamps, and those three I mentioned use the alternator to provide lamp test ground. Double check the parking brake lamp comes on in test mode - with the parking brake NOT set. The other two you mention are irrelevant.
