Thank you everyone again for your help! It seems my problem has been resolved. I never knew a cap and rotor could cause so much trouble. Thank you Gary L. for the suggestion. It idled closer to 11-12 degrees and maxed at 31-32 like I think it should at higher RPM.

Now, does anyone know about pinpointing and resolving heat soak symptoms? Perhaps a new topic is in order....
