"Is the rubber connector you speak of the rubber tubing covering the green wire on right hand side of connector?"
It's not a rubber "connector" but a rubber "boot" that covers a male/female metal connection. Sorry but I can't relate "right hand side" to flexible wiring with the point of interest being mostly vertical and angled (in my car at least).
But if you look behind the right side strut tower brace, you should be able to spot the 3 wires coming up the firewall from the O2 sensor. All 3 wires come out of their protective tubing in that area but may be tucked down out of sight. Two of the wires (Red and White) go into a 2-pin connection leading toward the ECU inside.
The O2 signal wire (Black) connects to a bulky white, cylindrical plastic "thingy" where the larger Green wire comes out and goes to the ECU. The actual male/female metal connection is covered by the rubber boot, which can be pushed back to expose the connection for sensor replacement or, in this case, attaching a DVM probe.
Your picture is aimed in the right area but you need to look deeper. Start by finding the protective sleeve clipped to the firewall as it comes up from below. Then follow it up into that area where the 3 wires come out of the sleeve to connect as described.
