i will be forever indebted to Volvo for the mushroom head on the door locks of my 89 instead of the smooth ones of newer vehicles.
i locked myself out on the alcan in may and spent night trying to get in some how, all the while listening to the cd play.
morning came and even after a 6 mile roundtrip walk to get a hanger from the only place open, i was grateful it found purchase on that lock head and allow me to continue on.

i keep spare in my wallet now.
