83 245- The problem with locking keys in your car. (a solution) 200

See, I solved this problem in a two-fold manner:

I drive a piece of crap (cosmetically challenged both in and out) with the most valuable contents being the spare AMM, ECU and fuel pump relay in the trunk.

I lock only the trunk.

I do not suggest the first one to everyone, but I am firm believer in leaving the doors unlocked with nothing of value in the car. Leave it in the trunk and lock the trunk.

I am betting at least one guy out there is saying "Hey, this guy used to own a convertible of some sort". Even before I owned a convertible, I rode motorcycles. You never left anything of value in a pair of soft saddlebags.
