Pulling a B20 out of a 140 140-160

You can get sockets that have a short integrated Allen key. A flexi or wobble extension is useful. Remove trans cross member, loosen engine mount nuts, allow engine to tilt back but be careful that it doesn't crush any pipework on the bulkhead. Valve cover can be removed if it the limiting factor. Replacing the trans cross member bolts with a couple of lengths of threaded rod plus nuts will help keeping the weight of the trans under control and make the job a bit safer if you are working on your back underneath. Obviously a transmission jack is useful but most people won't have one of those. A wooden cradle can be made to suit a standard jack.
