Pulling a B20 out of a 140 140-160

The majority of the time, i lift the head(&manifolds) off, then lift the engine(&gearbox) out with an endless chain and push it backwards on flat concrete, this is is a one man job that takes 20-30 minutes. The other bits I use to lift are a pair of old but good head bolts with HD washwers and a piece of chain long enough to reach from one head bolt to the next. There is not much simpler than pulling a a B20 from a 140.

If going this way, make sure you pull and riggle the pushrods until the lifters release, it can be a pain getting one of those back in the hole.
