For several days I have missed General Patton at Brickboard, particularly at the 900 forum where posts by Brickboarders in need of help received no reply from him. I thought he was away on vacation. It is summer after all and it is not like the General not to reply promptly and helpfully. It never occurred to me that he was banned from BB. I will be very disappointed if he is banned for a controversy with a person whom, I think, should have been ignored after she wasted so much time and help freely given and then bit the hand that fed her, persons like Evan, Don Foster and General Patton. I came upon Brickboard a few months ago and have come back daily since then. Indeed, the first two persons that helped me at Brickboard were General Bain and General Patton. Not knowing proceedure at boards, I emailed General Bain directly rather than post my question. He promptly emailed me with helpful information. Then, he had General Patton email me directly with all kinds of most helpful information. I marvelled then at their helpfulness and generosity. Since then, I have worked much on one Volvo and brought another one back from near Valhalla with the help of General Patton, Steve Ringlee and other Brickboarders. I still marvel everyday at the helpfulness and generosity of Brickboarders and persons like General Patton, Evan and Don Foster. Even after all that person did, Evan and Don Foster continued to give her most generously their time and help in posts that anybody can read. Brickboarders like General Patton, General Bain, Evan and Don Foster are protagonists of contemporary history that add to that most important chapter of history that is the United States. If anybody wants an explanation, I can supply it mathematically as transformations of matter and energy in time and space since Einstein and contemporary unification theory as a foundation for unified natural and social science. I readily bow to Brickboarders on Volvos, but I bow to none on my specialty. General Patton has been forthright in his defense of Brickboard and Brickboarders. At worst he can be accused of not being cautious in a timorous epoch, but he is too generous with himself toward Brickboard and Brickboarders for that. The person that has caused so much trouble is not the protagonist of anything, but she is the kind that will do harm. Can she be ignored? Will Brickboarders allow her to displace General Patton, Don Foster, Evan and then others like them from Brickboard? If that happens, Brickboard will come to nothing.
