Yeah taking the model home can be very dangerous, especially if it's a newer model. Storage at another location IS possible, but the logistics are a nightmare.
The up front fees for some models are quite low, but there are some real questions about use history and no reports at all on reliability. Figuring out the Mandarin vocal input commands can be quite frustrating and time consuming but these models are quite responsive to the European touch. Especially the tools and finger tightening of a trained Italian mechanic such as myself. I have encountered trouble reaching the big red stop button (in fact on some models I don't know where it is yet!) but I suspect this is due more to my lack of documented training in the US, in my younger years, than anything else.
That said there is no better acceleration, ride comfort, handling, hill climbing of these models. I may add if 4 high speed runs per evening is a bit much you may want your blue heart pills, to keep a steady tool hand.
