Jeez Rafael, I don't know what to say.

Thanks for the "Atta Boy".

Lately I've been getting that itchy feeling again, where I question the amount of time and effort put forth to help those I can with their cars.

I really appreciate knowing that is how it is recieved, at least in some circles.

You are correct. I took "Jaki's" posts at face value at first. I answered her promptly and thoroughly and genuinely wanted to help her. I even offered her the choice of meeting my friend, a Master Volvo Tech, and/or letting me take a look at her car since we live only about 30 miles apart.

Then came the realization that EVERY-SINGLE-RESPONSE was twisted by her in to either "So, you say my mechanic is ripping me off" or, "So this is because I am a woman, huh?"

Then the ill-fated attempted at posting under multiple identities, with the explaination that: "I was just getting sick of hearing from the same Old Farts, Don Foster and General Patton."

Then the posts about: "Does my car have a transmission?"

It just gets irritating when other peoples posts... REAL POSTS... from folks with REAL PROBLEMS, when THEIR POSTS get shoved off the end of the list in 18 hours, because the list is overloaded with that kind of crap.

I'm easily irritated, ok?
