Lock-up torque converter problem 700 1991

I mentioned in my first note that I had a new transmission installed a year ago. Would either the solenoid or a new relay have been part of the new transmission installation (and therefore under the replacement warranty)?

The switch on the shift lever seems to be working okay--at least pressing the button turns the orange arrow light on and off.
