Lock-up torque converter problem 700 1991

I don't think it'd be covered, nope.

But per the FAQ instructions, you can usually fix it by doing the resoldering and even if it doesn't work, you can get a cheap replacement.

Does the arrow light come on when your car suddenly does the downshift thing by itself? Or does it not come on? usually, when the relay fails and you get the problem that you're describing, when your car downshifts itself the light DOES come on. at least that's what happened with me.

if the light stays off when it does it in your car, it might be the solenoid. in which case, you'd have to look to someone else for procedure. but i'd still start with the relay first since it doesn't hrut to resolder it. jsut be careful :)
