Ethanol 140-160 1972

The farms that make that corn that you turn into fuel probably used
10x as much fuel to make that corn than was produced by it. Then you
have to turn corn juice into something you can burn, which requires
even more energy which is often in the form of oil.

If you want to burn something in your car that doesn't use lots of
fuel to produce, either use fuel or use diesel and make that out of
waste oil from fast food places. Biodiesel is the only alternative
fuel that makes any sense at all.
