Do farmers use ethanol in their gasoline powered equipment? Do
the makers of ethanol use ethanol to power the corn juice -> ethanol
conversion process? If the answers are no then it is likely that
the process results in a net energy loss and you have to ask yourself
why it is that you're doing it (because whiskey tastes good is a good
answer).
