Fuel Pump 1800 1970

Dave;

It MAY be a problem with the pump itself, but it is also indicative of the pump in bypass mode because it is deadheaded into a bound-up regulator...remember, the FI fuel system is constantly circulating as the regulator controls the pressure, but also dumps fuel (beyond current engine demand) back to the tank. I suggest you pull of the DUMP line from the reg. and allow it to drain (as it should) into a catch container. If there's no flow, the reg is the source of the problem...

Bosch pumps are high quality, and highly reliable...why change?

Good Hunting
