Fuel Pump 1800 1970

I changed my fuel pump in my '71 E ten years ago, it was louder than the old one.
As we speak, some 30K kilometers further down the road, it's still loud but working perfectly.
I agree with the former reaction; Bosch pumps are almost running forever.
1.Check the filter, renew if necessary and make sure you install the right type of filter.
2. check the old one and find out why it was clotted.
The rusting of the tank could cause problems, this can be visable if you open the old fuel filter.
Lots'of small particles clot up the filter before you reach 40K kilometers, as the filter normally should be changed.
Let us know what happens
