My Earl Scheib experience 700 1987

Pretty normal for a cheaper paint job. I had the same done on my 84 with 250k+ more to prevent it from rusting than anything else. Wait a few months then wax and it'll look o.k. You just won't get a new car finish unless you pay BIG bucks. Start looking around at other cars and you'll even see orange peel on some brand new cars. Take a look at a black Ford Explorer and I bet you'll see a bit of it.

Mine's holding up pretty well after three years though so I can't complain.

Good luck.

Kirk S.

p.s. The finish on mine actually looked better after a little bit too, not just my imagination as my neighbor commented on it also.
