122 Headlamp Help??? 120-130 1968

L Headlight is out. Purchased sealed replacement unit. Installed. No luck. By coincidence (?) my dimmer/dash light (illuminates the speedometer and gas guage) is out. Checked fuses under hood and they look okay. Have not swapped R and L headlights to see if I've got 2 bum lamps...

Any hints? Is there another fuse box somewhere? Do I have faulty wiring? Is there hope?

Thanks. I love this board. I made successful clutch adjustment using this...you guys (gals?) are great.
