Oh..Where does the white/ black wire go to/from the CS inj?

The Bentley 240 manual diagram shows that wire going to ECU pin 32. With 12 volts on the orange wire, I assume the ECU grounds the W/B one when it wants to. Maybe taking the ECU connector off and on a few times will clean up an oxidized terminal (?).

ALL the manuals (4 of them)I have paged thru say that an orange wire goes to AND from the CS inj.

What manuals do you have? The Bentley is all I have with a diagram for the '89, and it agrees with what you found on your car.
