'89 740 GL Cold Start Problem 700

There is a checkvalve at the outlet from the main fuelpump. If the spring in the valve breaks(just did it on my 740 2nd time in 5 yrs) there is no residual fuelpressure in the injector lines and it takes quite a bit of cranking to get the engine started. Easily checked with a fuelpressure gauge.
