What kind of a problem are you trying to correct?

If you are considering this as a preventive maintenance item it is not recommended anywhere by Volvo. It is perhaps only recommended by those who want you to buy it. It is unnecessary and will improve nothing on the engine, on the other hand it won't do any harm either.

Use a good quality 10W30 oil (synthetic preferred) and change regularly.
