Yeah, that exhaust really needs to be taken care of i agree. 10W40 is something that people recommend to stay away from right? Because of the wide spread between ratings? (dino oil, not syn.) I'll probably stick with 10W30 GTX for now, because it is cheap enough, and it seems like it takes long enough to warm up my engine as it is.
At the Historic Races we saw some COOL cars there for sure, couldn't fine ONE volvo though, not even in the car corral where last year there was a club there with many of them. Not one racing volvo though. I did see a Ferrari F40(fake one based on the Fiero) Porsche CARRERA GT!!! and other sweet cars. But what i was saying was, my dad let me drive his Fiat X1/9 back from the track. I've never experienced pinging firsthand(well, i don't know if i have or not), so i was wondering what exactly it sounds like. Does it sound like a bunch of little plastic BBs rattling around? Is that what "pinging" is? As in caused from using too low of octane? I've heard it a few times in our Jetta when warm out, and then today while on the backroads it was doing it quite a bit...
I think that's all for now, hopefully i'll take a nice nap then get up get some oil and take care of that. Play with the timing later, maybe tomorrow, maybe tonight... Who knows.
