65S with a J OD 1800

Mike:
I measured ~ 3/4+ inches delta on the transmissions. I have seen two flanges on the J OD transmissions one about the same length as the D OD flang (short) and one longer~+1 inches. I used the shorter and the ~ 3/4 inch + is the length of the J type over the D type with the shorter flang. The rubber grommets that hold the driveshaft up at the carrier bearing were pushed up close the the base. I have the driveshaft and transmission out now and can not measure exactly. Thanks for the Brett Sutherland post I will e-mail him.
