Don't know if you can get them any more, but I used a set of Volvo R-Sport lightened lifters and pushrods on a '68 144S. The lifters are drilled like swiss cheese and ablut 1/2 inch longer than the stock lifters. The matching pushrods are correspondingly shorter, giving a smaller angle to the point of contact with the rocker cup and allows better rpm rise rates.
