Here in Ireland, 97 octane (the only available - higher octane petrol was banned for health reasons) costs on average 0.98 euro per litre. That works out at 3.71 euro per US gallon which works out at roughly 4.52 US dollars per US gallon. LPG isn't really an option here - its not very popular. Petrol is even more expensive in the UK and other European countries....
