USA "pump octane" is the RON+MON/2 method. Works out about 3-6 points lower than straight RON depending on formulation, oxygenators, etc...
In Northern Nevada (Carson City, Reno is higher) gas has been climbing recently. Seems to want to ping-pong around $2/gallon for regular unleaded at local cheapest alternative. Add 25 cents/gallon for "name brand" like Shell or Chevron. Premium is running roughtly 30 cents a gallon higher than regular with "plus" somewhere in-between.
Regular here is 85 pump octane due to elevation (4800').
