S90 for a new driver? S90-V90 1998

What a great buy for a great car, if the car is well maintained, it could last a long long time. The first thing I would ask is when the timing belt was changed, if it was well maintained it should have been done at 70k miles.
The timing belt is one of the only things that can go wrong that could really hurt one of these cars, besides a water pump, that should be changed probally on the next timing belt interval.

Ask the owner if he has had the tranny fluid changed also, if not buy the car and do so, these cars really like synthetic motor oil and syn tranny fluid as well.

There will be others to give more insight, but if your looking for a great car these are the best Volvo's ever built as far as my 2cents goes.

Good Luck
Poolman
