S90 for a new driver? S90-V90 1998

IMHO, the S90 could become a high maintenence vehicle. I think a better choice for a teenager would be a 240/740/940. Teenagers crash cars a lot until they get with the program of being safe. All the things that can happen to them as a result of other drivers errors are not taught.
Sure the S90 is safe, but so are the earlier cars at half the price.
Just my opinions.
