S90 for a new driver? S90-V90 1998

I'd have to agree with Shatz. I gave my 16y.o. daughter an '84 245 to drive when she received her driver's license in 1996. The lamination on the license wasn't even cool yet when she pulled out in front of a minivan, which hit her in the passenger door. No injuries except to my '84. The insurance company called the car a total loss and paid about $4000. For $1200 I purchased the car, a used strut tube & strut and had a body shop pull out the frame/door/pillar (dents are still there, but the door lock works and the door operates fine) she drove the car all through high school and when she was stationed in Norfolk, Va (Navy) we drove the car 16 hours from Iowa to deliver it to her. When she wanted a newer car, I delivered an '88 740 and drove the '84 home via D.C., New York, and Boston. The damaged door makes it a little breezy but she's still running 9 years later.
