Hi Scott
It's a long shot, but check the wires going into the resistor pack (the four or five--I have forgotten--inch-long cylinders bound together and attached to the interior fender near the battery. I have seen the exposed section of wire at the tip of each resistor corrode, presumably from battery fumes, to the point where they either separate or just hang there. Have you ruled out a bad plug?
