Lucid ..
Hey - make me a bit more 'lucid' on this one ...OK? Take a look at my questions in the text, if you would.
1 - Pull plugs and rotate crank to #1 0° TDC Compression
2 - Verify #1 and #2 valves closed - look thru oil fill hole, cams pointed upward.
3 - Rotate crank about 90° past TDC
ROTATE CLOCKWISE (toward batt)?
4 - Stuff 3' to 4' of clothesline into # 1 plug hole, leaving 6" outside
5 - Use socket, breaker bar, and pipe extension to loosen pulley bolt
ROTATE COUNTERCLOCKWISE (away fro batt)?
6 - Tighten bolt the same way, but start with crank about 90° before #1 TDC Comp.
TIGHTEN CLOCKWISE (to batt)?
Next timing belt I am going to do myself for sure ..and I am making a folder of hints like this. Thanks for putting it out there!
