Jeez already, stop with the over-engineering. Do not look at belt marks, do not rotate the engine to check anything, do not mount the belt with the pulleys loose. Just set the cam mark, set the crank at TDC (there is a mark there and the notch in the belt guide) and make sure the rotor is pointed dead at the mark on the dizzy lip. You guys with the big deal complicated timing efforts, sheesh! One more thing, make sure the tensioner is set into the block all the way, and remove the lock nail.
