T belt misaligned, other woes 700 1986

Thanks again Bruce. I have changes T belts a few times on my 240 with a B23F with not a lick of problem; the B230FT had me thrown. I did find what was mixing me up: a PO at some time had broken off the nubbin that is used to align the crank gear.
I have a parts car 87 740 with a B230FT and I wound up pulling the timing assembly apart to see what was wrong with my thinking. When I got to the crank gear it was obvious, so I used the crank gear from the wreck and chucked the one that was on my driver. That nubbin made everything clear. I thought there was a separate piece of keystock that fit on the crank shaft to hold everything in place.
So, tomorrow I will try to start this car; its too late now and I have to reset the ignition timing as I removed the rear mounted dizzy while I was playing around with the repalcement cam. I guess I will static time it initially.
Spent the last two hours driving out the frost plug under number 4 exhaust to install a block heater. What a bear, but better than the B23F, as the exhaust on the turbo gives more room to get at the plug. Still had to drill it with the dremel then get a long (24 inch) chisel to drive that begger out of the block.
