Clutch cable vs. Hydraulic clutch

I have been having heat issues with my clutch cable. I have it pretty well shielded now but I am less than happy with the fit and finish of my solution.
Does anyone run a hydraulic setup? If so what is it from? Hard to fit?
OR, what is the good solution for shielding?

I have a 245 w/5.0l and a T5.
