Got some perceptible intermittent stumbling, and vacuum gauge shows a bit higher than usual when idling, although the tach still shows aboout 900 rpm with the AC on. No MIL! Got the generic code reader hooked up this morning and got a P0352, with a " Coil B, secondary circuit, circuit malfunction " explanation. according to ALLDATA, this translates to "ignition coil, cylinder 2, signal missing, permanent fault"
This all seems to have started after I got the car back from the indy mech, who had changed both the timing belt and the serp belt (I can't be real sure about the timing; I've been mostly driving another vehicle).
If there is a causal connection to what would have been handled in the course of the belt changes, where would I check first to see? I don't want to jump the mech if there's no proof that he had anything to do with the new problem, but I recall vividly problems I had with another Volvo after the dealer mechs crimped the wiring harness under a shield, cutting the insulation and causing a meltdown.
