Considering S70. Reliable? S70

Hi, everyone. I am a 19 year old college student and currently I drive a 1986 Nissan 300ZX. Great car, but too expensive to keep running. Ive spent $3000.00 in the last year and it needs $3000.00 more in repairs. Hey, it's 20 years old. Anyway, I like my cars to be different. I don't like American cars as a general rule due to a number of reasons. Everyone has a Japanese car. I considered the VW Jetta and Passat, but reliabilty is far below adequate. Anyway, I have also loved Volvos and I have a friend and a relative that drive them. I really love the S70. It's luxurious, purfect size, gets good gas mileage, looks tough, and it's safe. But I have read some bad reviews on them, but none of the problems tend to be a common thing. Anyway, not counting lemons, how reliable are the 98-00 S70s? Any recommendations? Annual Operating cost? I drive roughly 20k miles a year. Thanks a lot!
