Since you seem to have tracked down all the likely culprits related to ignition and and induction (and I'm always quick to just to fuel anyways), I suggest investing in a fuel pressure gauge. --Perhaps we've already been though this, I apologize if that is so.
I got one at Autozone that does the trick. A schrader valve should be underneath the car in the line between the pump and filter in your '94. Also at the end of the fuel rail (by the vacuum tree) to check the function of the regulator. I've not seen system pressure numbers published, just volume/minute. If I recall correctly I have measured pressures in the range of 40psi at idle. Also have measured pressure fluctuations pogoing up and down between 20 and 80 psi due to a bad regulator. Never had much problem with idle though...
It's not just something silly like a bad spark plug causing a miss right?
