rough idle...what am I missing? 850

I also don't like the differences in compression, but it shouldn't be that low to cause the idle to be messed up. The lower compression will still burn most of the gasoline. That's why looking at the plugs would be good.
You don't have a recorded misfire. Perhaps you should be looking for an 850T with a 5 speed :)
