I kindo of wondred about teh fuel pressure, but thought I'd have problems at speed if it were off. As far as plugs go, I replaced teh 13,000 mile Volvo plugs with a set of NGKs with no change whatsoever.
It's kind of hard to describe the 'miss'. It's not as bad as a dead cylinder, more like one that is weak. And it's only noticeable at idle. NO noticeable loss of power or milage. just a light ot mederate dum-dum-dum-dum sound at idle accompanied by a slight bump felt through the steering wheel. It's really kind of minor, and since I've not found a serious problems, I may just live with it. My guess at this point is that teh compression spread of 170 to 190 is creating just enough difference in power at idle to set up this vibration and noise.
