Yeah I've had the speaker out and it works. The magnet is pretty big, but my noise sounds like something less than 1/2 an inch causing it. I had fished into the air vent with a wire and double stick tape on the end, but a magnet and all around the inside of the dash will be the next move. Also checking the switches. Come to think of it the headlight switch was making the doors lock and that had never happened since I got it. It started after I out in the keyless entry. Does anyone else get locking doors when you turn the headlights on? Thanks for all the posts.
