Well, the UPS truck arrived with my new resistor from FCPGroton. Went out, plugged it in and, same thing! No worky. The fan came on what seemed like high speed for 5-10 seconds then shuts off. Messing with the controls had no effect either before or after the fan on. It will only come on for the few seconds if you turn ignition key off, then back on. I tried it a few rimes and once it seemed like the blower was running maybe 50% max speed. So, could it be the ECC? Thats about only thing left. A fella on another board has a working ECC from a early build 96. Sounds like that would work but what about my new resistor for the 93-94 year? I was really hoping the new resistor was the problem. At least I think I eliminated one component. Any ideas???
