Fellas, I just wanted to update those that have helped and those looking to see where this ended up going. The used ECC arrived today so I promptly inserted it in place of mine. I turned the key to pos II and I'm very happy to report that I have full control over fan speed, temp, and where the air blows. So it looks like my ECC was the culprit. I do have a new resistor and will change the blower out sometime, maybe in the spring. The blower sounds like it's roaring a little too loud. But, I really want to thank those that take the time to read posts and write back on this board in attempt to help this Volo community out. The knowledge on here is incredible. Thanks go to you guys!!
