Car failed annula emission test 850 1995

Klaus and Tmannian,

Thank you both for your quick and detailed inputs.

I can replace plugs, rotor/cap, wires (they were replaced a few years ago). I just feel a little beaten up and frustrated. By now, I think I need to replace PNP switch, right front axle (leaking boot), rear shocks (leaking oil), front struts(?), and more. Could it be an endless fight?

Nearest indy volvo shop still requires significant travel time (Do you believe it even in New York City?)

After I cleared up 1-2-2 from A1, CEL turned of. Won't other codes in A2 give CEL? Do you know why I could not clear up those codes from A2?

Like "these codes (i don't know if its all, or just one of them) can be set off by a popped front tire!" :-)

Have a wonderful afternoon.
